Veterans Educational Benefits
SCPS participates in all applicable federal programs for veterans, service persons, and their dependents, including various GI Bill programs, as well as the Yellow Ribbon Program, a partnership with the VA to assist with tuition funding. In addition, some military learning experiences and training programs might be eligible for bachelor’s degree credits through the American Council on Education.

Scholarships
SCPS students can pursue a variety of internal and external scholarships to help cover educational expenses. In fact, 100 percent of our undergraduate degree students who apply for SCPS scholarships receive aid. Learn More
Knowledge-based Credit
SCPS students can earn college credit toward graduation for various qualified learning experiences, including past college-level courses and select training programs. In addition, students can earn credit for passing scores on DSST and CLEP exams as well as credit. Through the American Council on Education (ACE), which provides recommendations for academic credit for professional exams or training, military credit, police training, and other select learning experiences. Students will work with their advisor to identify the knowledge-based credit that can reduce cost and their time to degree or certificate completion.
